This is the perfect title for your Substack. I was telling someone the other day that you have the voice of a grandmother, if your grandmother could explain what an RTO is. I always feel like I should be having tea and cookies when I interview you. I'm looking forward to reading your articles!
Good going ! - If you ever need guest writer - I'll kick in some content on rare earths and thorium if you want / need a break ( I know I could never put out sub-stack consistently - but I could certainly help you )
Thank you. My plans are very tentative now. But as someone who was an expert on perovskites (in grad school, decades ago!) I know that we need to consider what our raw materials are, and where they come from.
So pleased to see you on Substack, Meredith. Your previous work on supporting Vermont Yankee nuclear plant is much appreciated by common sense energy advocates everywhere, despite the plants unfortunate demise….a demise well explained by your seminal book “Shorting the Grid”. That book so well explains the Byzantine minutiae of electric regulation and pricing it should on every legislators bookshelf, but alas we know it is on too few. Again welcome and eagerly awaiting your writings here!
Meredith: Welcome to Substack! I appreciate the supportive ecosystem of content creators and readers here. Thanks for explaining the photograph. When I recommended readers of my Substack GreenNUKE, I highlighted your 2016 book Campaigning for Clean Air: Strategies for Pro-Nuclear Advocacy. Please insure that readers become aware of all the material you have written.
Dear Meredith: Thank you for recognizing my focused work. Since 2013, I estimate I've put in about 30,000 hours on the project to extend Diablo Canyon Power Plant operations beyond 2025.
Welcome to Substack! As one of the cool kids there (NOT!), I have to say that Substack does a lot to allow writers to concentrate on their subject, instead of the mundane and time-consuming details of how to get it published.
Substack just got even better.
